I like Melb (1.85) to beat Manly (1.95) and STG (1.55) to beat Parra (2.40). GC v Bris will be full on. Bris deserve to start favourites, but playing at Robina is just what the Titans want. Good odds for Newcastle to upset the dogs, who struggled last week without Kimmorley.
Western Bulldogs are too short (1.28) for mine h2h. Maybe a margin or line bet, but I think they get home against the Lions. Adelaide (1.75) v Collingwood (2.00) is shaping to be a close game. Again, a line or margin of 1-39 could be the best for this one.
Just waiting for the Line / margin odds....

agree here and will be taking Gold Coast @$2.30
ReplyDeleteI will not be passing on Collingwood, they are a good side and Mick with have them firing and have a good record againest the Crows, will have to wait for teams to be named.
this is the week to get on Melbourne or manly for the premirship for mine both @ $6 and the winner will be shorter after this weeks games both have been there before and know what finals are all about.
been looking at some brownlow odds can Ablett have the luck? he has had as good a season as any and again is the front runner @ $3.25 will come in by brownlow night and good be as low as 2-1, Blues Captain Chris Judd again showed in 2009 why he is one of the best going around and is @ $7.50 one that i do like is Simon Black @ $11 always polls well and top 5 betting could be the way and $2.50 is good odds.
one last Brownlow bet, keep some simple rules stick with the midfielder and stick with the top teams as a rule of thumb as the winners most often have the 3 and 2 vote getters, one for this and is at a good value is Matty Boyd from the bulldogs, they finished 3rd with Boyd leading the way in the midfield, if you like the longer odds the $17 on offer for Boyd could be on the money.
One last thing i did get on Cooney @ $101 last year for the brownlow in the pre season.
Hi Lionel, welcome to the blog.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your comments, although I think I will stay away from the GC v Bris game. I still like the Storm to beat Manly. The Storm have shown more consistency and love playing in Melbourne. I think I will get on Dragons and Storm in NRL.
In AFL I am getting interested in the Magpies to win this weekend, and the h2h odds are good. Injury concerns ? Not too sure, Pendulbury yes, but Rocca hasn't been there all year anyway. I also had a look at the 1st goalkicker odds in the GF, which got my interest. Will study this option further.
I like your Brownlow tips. hard to go past Ablett, and the bookies think so too. There might be some good value in the h2h medal betting. I haven't got anything on it yet, but will study the odds/options a bit further today.
I see Hayne won the Dally M last night. I'm a bit dirty I didn't even really think about this when Parra fired up 8 weeks ago - on the back of his form. ce la vie..
got on my own teams tonight Storm ($1.85) into Doggies over 15.5 points ($1.45) @ $2.68
ReplyDeleteas for the pies Beams and Fraser are also big outs for them but Dick comes in and should have played last week insted of Rocca.
But the Pies love the back to the Wall stuff, and i can see this being abit of a shoot out so two value bet could be Highest To Lowest Score
Adel/Coll/WBdg/Bris @ 14
Coll/Adel/WBdg/Bris $ 15
wouldn't put much on it but could be abit of fun bet
